The nine Joie Villas are fine temporary escapes named after the trees and flowers that grow within and give each its unique identity, the good life energy, and seasonal scents. The Villas’ comfortable capacity ranges between 2 to 8 people, some have built-in pools, and others have private gardens for intimate hangouts. We aim to get the silver LEED certification from USGBC, Villa Joie as Green Resort means healthier, more productive places, reduced stress on the environment by encouraging energy and resource-efficient buildings, and savings from increased building value, higher lease rates, and decreased utility costs.

The architecture of Lebanon embodies the historical and cultural influences that have shaped Lebanon’s built environment. Phoenicians, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, and French took part in our architectural heritage. More the less, Lebanon’s modernist rush was a milestone that presented several modernist buildings that took part of the modernist architecture on the world map.

The concept behind #Villa_Joie is to create a vernacular, Bioclimatic, and Green project. Using local materials extracted from the site reflects the traditional architectural taste in the Lebanese Mountains. Such typology respects the energy efficiency and by using the solar panels and windmills for energy production, and the recycling of the sewage and domestic water by creating a green STP certified- Villa joie is now full energy efficient.
Nonetheless, the mixing between architectural local typology and the modernist elements -Glass and Dark-Black industrial steel with the Limestones integrated- created this Lebanese Modern mountainous escape.
