LEED CERTIFIED

We are committed to offering our clients the option of rating and certifying their buildings according to international standards such as the LEED rating system offered through USGBC, of which we are a member therein. Our partnership with EcoConsulting  not only strengthens our expertise in LEED project rating but also gives our clients the peace of mind for rating their projects. This would bring both economic benefits through a more efficient operation with low environmental impact and financial benefits through the Green Loan.

SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT

When it comes to purchasing products or services, we are dedicated to being leaders in environmentally responsible purchasing. This is translated into purchasing products and services from sister companies that manufacture and produce an array of building materials. This would drastically reduce the carbon footprint of those materials mainly because of the decreased transportation distances as opposed to imported products. Purchasing eco-friendly cleaning products, low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints, coatings, adhesives, and sealants is also a part of our sustainable procurement policy.

TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION

To achieve an environmentally friendly and sustainable building, technological means such as Building Management Systems (BMS), smart metering, and onsite environmental awareness displays along with innovative implementation techniques are required. This is reflected in building efficiency, resource conservation, and low waste production in projects undertaken. Moreover, this raises and promotes tenant environmental awareness.

GREEN LOAN

Low rate financing costs can be obtained with Green Loans subsidized through the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL). Projects can be energy or non-energy related, rated or non-rated according to international standards. BDL subsidizes interest up to a maximum rate of 7% with maturity ranging between 5 to 7 years and grace periods up to 4 years depending on the type of Green Loan adopted.
